ZNA Information

What?

The Zilker Neighborhood Association (ZNA) was established over twenty five years ago with the mission of protecting the character of our neighborhood and enhancing the quality of life for all of our residents.  ZNA is a volunteer organization that works to ensure appropriate code enforcement, resolve traffic safety issues, maintain our historic and cultural resources, protect our environment and ensure that our neighborhood's interests are heard at City Hall.

Why?

To be effective in our mission, we need your participation in the association.  Membership dues support our neighborhood newsletter, Z-NEWS as well as activities such as our summer Watermelon Social.  Additional contributions above the annual dues are always welcome, and are used to support neighborhood projects such as the Holiday Family Fund, with which ZNA assists disadvantaged children and their families at Zilker Elementary.

Membership also affords you the opportunity to vote on important issues that are addressed at our quarterly meetings.

Who?

Membership is open to all Zilker residents, both renters and homeowners, who are at least 18 years old.  Please see the neighborhood boundary map if you're uncertain of your eligibility.

How?

Annual dues are $7 per person. To join ZNA, simply mail in the attached form.
